My Positions

Charlotte County needs competent substantial leadership which puts the best interests of the community first.  In these pages, I am publishing my plans to return fiscal responsibility to Charlotte County government, to revitalize our local economy, and to lay the groundwork for sound, prudent future growth.  Please consider these ideas carefully, and if you agree, I welcome your vote and your support.  You may use the "Contact" tab on this page to provide any feedback.  Thank you for your interest.

Please note that my Position Papers are published here in the Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) so that they may be viewed by all site visitors, regardless of the computers they might be using.  To view these documents, you must have Adobe Reader® software installed on your computer.  Adobe Reader® is available free and you may download the software by clicking on the icon at the bottom of this page.

My Blueprint for Economic Recovery
Charlotte County’s economy has historically been heavily dependent on tourism and construction. With some questionable decisions by the current County Commission, and the general downturn in the construction industry, the County currently faces a serious decline in economic activity and employment, with resulting impacts to businesses, families and citizens of all ages.  I have formulated a multi-point plan to address these issues and you may read that detailed blueprint for a stronger Charlotte County by clicking here.
